Our secondary school is comprised of students in middle school (grade 6 - grade 8) and high school (grade 9 - grade 12). In secondary school, students do not only continue to make meaningful connections between their studies and the real world. Projects and assignments focus on cultivating in students responsible attitudes that will become responsible actions. Students are encouraged, in every discipline, to critically approach real-world problems and try their hand at well-thought-out solutions.
In addition to traditional disciplines (math, arts, social studies, language arts, physical education, etc.) students are able to explore their interests and pursue new possibilities through a variety of clubs, electives, and after-school activities! In Secondary School at Pan American, there is something for everyone!

Como parte da estrutura do programa, os alunos são desafiados a transformar as conexões que fizeram entre seus estudos e o mundo real em ações significativas. The main campus of our school occupies a constructed area of 6 thousand m², with 24 classrooms and three student support rooms. Additionally, we offer music and theater studios, science labs, library and learning external areas. At the Preschool campus, there are six classrooms, with sports court and cafeteria.
P3 students work with a differentiated adaptation schedule in the first two weeks of school, with reduced hours. The process is closely monitored by our preschool counselor with a focus on helping students and parents transition smoothly into the new school environment.
A variety of digital platforms are used to facilitate school to parent and parent to school communication. The majority of school communication takes place on a platform called Bloomz. Bloomz enables parent to teacher and teacher to parent communication and is also utilized to share out school-wide announcements.
The evaluation system for the Primary School of Pan American School of Porto Alegre is defined as a narrative report card, in which the teacher describes the student's achievements and developments.
