  • Pan American School

On November 13, the Pan American School community gathered at the Bourbon Country Theater for an unforgettable evening celebrating the students' learning process through music. The 2025 Holiday Concert featured two sessions showcasing the remarkable talents of PAS students from Elementary and Secondary School.

Opening the evening's festivities, the Superintendent, Ms. Shaysann Kaun, and the P3-G12 Principal, Dr. Bowling, emphasized the deeper purpose behind the Holiday Concert. "This concert is about learning; it is about what we do every day," shared the school leadership members during their welcome speech.

The performances reflected months of dedicated preparation, transforming the theater into a celebration of growth, courage, and artistic expression. From the youngest Elementary performers to sophisticated Secondary ensembles, each group demonstrated the school's commitment to developing well-rounded, confident learners.

The Elementary School session featured ten dynamic performances with contemporary hits, including "Count on Me" by Bruno Mars and Imagine Dragons' "Thunder." The carefully curated repertoire showcased their capacity to connect with diverse musical styles and express themselves through the performances.

The Secondary School session elevated the evening with nine compelling performances that highlighted the advanced musicianship of students in Grades 6 through 12. The program featured both small group performances and larger ensemble pieces, including the High School Band and the School Band Club.

Events of this magnitude reflect the strength of a community that believes in the transformative power of education. The evening was made possible through the generous support of community partners CFL Empreendimentos, Cotiza Urbanismo, and Hospital da Plástica, whose belief in the power of art, culture, and education through music enables experiences that extend learning beyond traditional classrooms.

The packed theater and enthusiastic applause reflected a community united in supporting student growth and celebrating the remarkable achievements of our young learners. These moments of connection and celebration embody the school's mission to inspire global, life-long learners to build their future while recognizing the importance of community and belonging.
