Thank you to all the parents who attended the Everyday Mathematics Coffee Morning last Thursday, October 21st. We had a positive turnout, with forty-five parents from the ECE through grade 6 levels participating in this event. Topics addressed at the meeting included the Everyday Mathematics program philosophy, components of a typical math lesson, and the process followed for adopting the program at PAS. We will be hosting more math workshops regarding Everyday Mathematics throughout this school year.
