How to apply

The Pan American School of Porto Alegre (PAS) recruits teachers nationally and internationally throughout the year. The school’s administration attends hiring fairs sponsored by The Association of American Schools in South America (http://www.aassa.com/candidateinfo.asp),International School Services (www.iss.edu), Search Associates (www.search-associates.com), the University of Northern Iowa (http://www.uni.edu/placement/overseas/osfair.html) and Queens University located in Kingston, Ontario (http://educ.queensu.ca/careers/torf.html).  Interested applicants may apply through one of the aforementioned associations or directly to us by emailing us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. We also hire throughout the year utilizing a variety of resources including The International Educator (http://www.tieonline.com/) and SKYPE.  You are welcome to apply to our school at any time and do not necessarily have to attend a recruiting fair. 

Openings for school year 2011-12:

All openings will be confirmed no later than November 15, 2011. 

Openings for school year 2012-13:

• MS (6-7-8) Social Studies with knowledge of AERO curriculum. BS/BA in education with at least one year of classroom teaching. DEFINITE
• HS Social Studies (grades 9-12) with knowledge of AERO curriculum. BS/BA in education with at least one year of classroom teaching. DEFINITE
