PAS is a private, international, nonprofit school for children ages 3 through 18. English is the language of instruction; an ESL and PFL programs are available. PAS is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (AdvancedED) and the Brazilian Ministry of Education. The school is also a member of the International Baccalaureate Organization. The school is divided into four divisions: - Early Childhood Education Program (ECE) – from 3 years old to years old: * P3 / P4 - 3 and 4 years old are half or full day : 8:15 am to 12 pm or 8:15 am to 3:15 pm * K5 - 5 years old are full day: 8:15 am to 3:15 pm - Elementary School – grades 1st - 5th - Middle School – Grades 6th – 8th - High School – Grades 9th – 12th Some of the benefits of studying at PAS include: • International accreditations through Advanced/SACS (which issues the US High School diploma) and the International Baccalaureate Organization (which approves our Primary Years Program and school-wide learner profile). • Dual high school degrees (students graduate with the Brazilian and US high school diplomas).
