As many of you are aware, Haiti has suffered a devastating earthquake which has caused tremendous damage and suffering throughout the country. Our thoughts and prayers go out to everybody in Haiti and to the entire community of The Union School. Most staff and students have been accounted for and while the school itself sustained damage, it is still standing.

The next question on many people's minds after learning about the earthquake devastation in Haiti has been: How can I help? Most organizations are asking for monetary donations. They are not seeking material items, like clothes or food, or volunteers at this time.

If you are interested in contributing, below is a list of safe and reliable links that can help lessen the misery. When school returns on February 17, we will investigate what student actions can be taken as well.
